Adopt from China – Adopt Teddy!

Teddy is a good learner. And he learns very fast.

Six-year-old Teddy came to Alenah’s Home, our CHI foster care center in Beijing, this past May. Here’s the report from his nannies:

At first, Teddy was not familiar with the new environment and he only showed kindness to people who he likes. and he is shy to express himself. But now Teddy is becoming more and more comfortable and he is willing to express and show kindness to others. Teddy is a good learner. And he learns very fast. When he heard some new songs, he would follow to sing it after several times. Teddy’s motor skills are on target compared with the peers, but Teddy  is not able to walk very steadily due to the operation. Teddy is very active in school and he will answer questions actively in class. And he likes taking part in group activity. His favourite song is “A grateful heart” and each time on the school talent show, he will sing it. Teddy is a good learner. And most time, Teddy is very sweet. He will say to nanny “will you miss me when I go to school?”

Recently, Teddy is practicing writing numbers. And Teddy learned to recognize RMB, and now he knows 1 RMB, 5 RMB, 10 RMB and 10 RMB. He likes learning and keeps asking questions. And he can express his ideas well to show how he understands His language development is normal. He can talk with people very well. His physical development is on target as an age of 6 but just did everything a little slowly. Teddy  has taken off the cast in June. He can walk but not steadily due to the operation.

Teddy  had  surgery for hip dysplasia and tibia deformity and is recovering nicely. He walks with a little limp, but it doesn’t stop him from all his six-year-old activities.  Watch his video below to see for yourself.

Could Teddy continue to learn quickly in YOUR house?
