Thank you very much for the great work that CHI China did for our family. The trip was spectacular. The guides were terrific and the accommodations were fantastic. Overall, we went expecting a nice trip but what we got was a trip of a lifetime. You are to be commended. Feel free to use my name for any reference in the future. We knew the trip to the Daye City orphanage would be the focus of the trip and Christin did not let us down. She was amazing and the staff at the Social Welfare House of Daye were amazing as well. Perhaps the best part was the connection Marilou made with Julia. She is an amazing, kind woman who poured her heart out to our family. We will never forget her. I could go on and on about the amazing things we saw and experienced but I think you understand just how powerful this trip was.

Most adoptive families want their adopted children to see China and know more about Chinese culture and history and to understand their own heritage. They also want to visit the orphanage and meet the caregivers or foster families and if possible, to see the place where they were left to be found.
HERE’S WHAT WE CAN DO TO HELP.
We can arrange your total itinerary in China, arrange guides, accommodations and transportation. We can also coordinate with the orphanage and local civil affairs department for your visit to your child’s / your orphanage. You arrange your international flights.
Usually, we will arrange to visit the following cities and engage in these activities:
- Beijing: Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Heaven Temple, Great Wall, Hongqiao Market, Hutong Area, Acrobatic Show, Rickshaw Ride, Water Tube, Olympic Village and more.
- Xi’an: Terra Cotta Warrior Soldiers, City Wall, Small/Big Wild Pagoda Temples, Tang Dynasty show, plus the tastes, sounds and sights of Chinese life.
- Chengdu: Panda Base, Taste the food and flavors of Sichuan like Hot Pot, Steet Food and more.
- Guilin: Lijiang River Tour, Visit Elephant mountains, and the renowned Yangshuo West Street.
Visit the Orphanage City
Usually, families will take 10 to 14 days for a homeland trip. The cost is approximately $2000~2500 per person inside China. It will depend on how many cities are visited – and the travel date.
