The Wish List program was started in 2020 by two Chinese American ladies, Xin Luo and Cherelle (Qiong)Zheng. It is currently supported by donors in China and the USA. Thus far, the Wish List has enabled 88 families to receive the gifts and love from adopted Chinese children’s homeland people. There are currently over 300 volunteers and donors and tens of thousands of readers who read the stories on wechat and participated in this effort to help adoptive families. It has enhanced the understanding and friendship of Chinese and American people in a touching and amazing way.
As of January, 2022, Children’s Hope International serves as the agency receiving and distributing funds from the Wish List effort. The Wish List is officially known as “Adoptive Families Wish List” and is a program under Children’s Hope International. It can be found on the CHI website and the donation list.
