LITTLE HOMES OF HOPE
There are now 50 Little Homes of Hope in different cities in China to serve the poorest children and families. Often they are poor farm families from faraway, who have no funds or place to live except to camp out on the sidewalks of the hospital. Yes, really! In China hospitals, the family is responsible for the feeding and care of the children. Little Homes of Hope are like Ronald McDonald Houses with a flavor of Faith and Hope. Located near large hospitals, they are live-in centers for families or caretakers of the children being helped medically. There is counseling, encouragement and an environment of love and concern, a truly transformational ministry of social services.
